Most communities moved to a better platform like discord servers to host their websites as servers, so there's still quite a lot out there, but also some still using Facebook as a platform for their community.

I try to avoid tumblr otherkin if I'm being honest lol any kind of place that promotes fictionkin and the likes.

Therian Wilderness still exists, as well as Alpha Theory (therian pack finder) and the newly opened KinCafe. There is also Draconity, but that's more for dragons.

There are new forums popping up here and there, but they usually die quickly and don't last long.

That's true, personally, I have no problem with it I come to feel websites exist to guide to a point not guide forever.
