REGULAR GREY WOLVES: 

 Grey wolves are born from a 100 % bred wolf, their blood is not mixed up with humans in any way. They are the pure result of canine evolution. They are smaller, more agile, shorter on their legs but their back is longer. Their head is of a normal wolf size, smaller than other kind of wolf shifters. Their ears are shorter and their muzzle too. The  behavior of this creature is easily noticeable in many ways : They are evasive, easily spooked and generally avoid human kind. Some of the wolves have got closer to the roads or humans but usually, grey wolves do not know how to use a road and get killed by cars and other vehicules... Anyway, grey wolves are fast, small, agile and they mostly observe from a distance or run away if you get too close. They move their head like a dove because they are very curious and careful. When a grey wolf is on a road, a prey,s corpse or its pack might be nearby. Also, grey wolves were starting to be too numerous and came out from the parks they were brought in to reproduce and humans kill them on sight.  Blood weres and wolf shapeshifters do not wander in farms and dangerous places if they do not know how to deal with that danger. A grey wolf gives quick looks at you on the road from the corner of their eyes but its very subtle and they mainly focus on getting away and fast from an unknown situation that makes them scared or uncomfortable. They have a goal, a place to go, or their pack to find.  Wanna know if it's a wolf for sure ? Approach it with your car. If it runs away without hesitation, it's a grey wolf. If it is a blood were or a wolf shapeshifter, it will show no fear, will stop and look you deep into the eyes. Some of them might even threaten to attack or come in the car to bite if the person get too close. Wolves run away from humans, while blood weres and wolf shapeshifters will test humans and stand their ground. 

So to summary that : shorter, smaller, scaredies that observe and avoid humans by fear. Some grey wolves might be used to human presence and cars but will never let any approach from too close. 

If they observe you from a fair distance, moving their head like doves with a worried glance, yep, they are just regular wolves lol. They are likely to vanish calmly and flee a direct approach.

BLOOD WERES: 

They are born humans and have ancestors that come from a Mother or a Father wolf line. Their ancestors were basically wolves who shapeshifted into humans and mated with normal humans and came back to their real wolf self, just like the selkies. Blood weres are usually born humans then accidentally shapeshift back into their real form at a young age. It's a bloodline and blood weres who don't have that much wolf genes anymore might not be able to shapeshift or have to try harder anyway. Blood weres are spooky looking. They  have tiny squinted intelligent eyes and large ears, short fur in summer with curly hairs on the neck and butt. Their tail is place lower and is thinner, longer, weirder. It's more like a bushy tail with a tiny base curved toward the sky and low on their flank. Their snout and face is more triangular and their lip line is lower and partially hidden under the pointy snout. You can guess some humanish features on them. Their very short fur that sometimes has skin look alike color in some areas, their lip shape, eyes and nose, and even their legs position , lenght and ways to walk. Their neck is longer and looks curved, bit like a deer. While grey wolves are easily scared, blood weres are conscious of the danger of exposition to humans and might give you several paranoid glances. Please note that you might encounter regular grey wolves in human areas or unusual places. It doesn't make them automatic shapeshifters. They might just be wandering wolves in search for a mate or a new territory to create a pack. 

It's easy to know if a blood were is standing in front of you :  It will encourage a respectful distance between them and the car/person and threaten if their personal is not respected. They have two common behaviors toward humans : Either total indifference with a few glances back or total paranoia and maaany worried glances. The bravest of them will stop and stand their ground by approaching to show they are not scared and pissed. But blood weres are not idiots, they know hurting humans is not civilised and might bring their kind some trouble. Blood have tiny squinted eyes like mentioned before, a very intelligent stare, an elegant and very bouncy trot/gallop and large paws with thin legs. fluffier on the neck and flank.  Triangular head shape with large pointy ears and snout. Many other features are noticeable. 

The one I observe the most is that one : They have this SPOOKY weird look and legs that gives you shivers in your bones. you'll know a blood were when you see one, trust me... They either defy you and stare in your eyes like crazy or give very worried and paranoid glances from the corner of their eyes and turning their head toward you very often. People often mistake these for wolf hybrids, yellowstone wolves specie or even coyotes. But when you see a native tooth necklace on one, you're like...uh.....ok , this is not something you see everyday. 

Another thing i want to mention : blood weres do not run on long distances since their shift take way too much energy to just keep running on for a long time so if you see a wolf running like hell for minutes and minutes without hesitation or rushing on a prey for a long time without hesitations, chances are it is a grey wolf lol. Another point, blood weres is a family thing and usually, the parents of the person who shapeshift know what is going on because they , or their parents already had the genes.  They don't hang on in packs, but in group of two, three individuals ...

Their howl..........their howl is short and powerful , wolfish.... but has some creepy human tones. 

They are also very much taller than regular grey wolves.

WOLF SHAPESHIFTERS :

Born humans, wolf shapeshifters are humans who learned the ability to shapeshift through either magic, satanism or a lot of energy work ( meditation ). Their inner desire to become wolves physically often comes from their own passion for wolves, real connection to them anyway or simply that they had a ( or more than one )  past life as a  regular grey wolf. Some other people might have a wolf guardian as spiritual guide and might feel a connection or cameo shift into them and confuse it with their real form.Another case scenario is therianthropy by posession, which is a stray wolf spirit, demon, guardian or else that bond their soul and partially posess their human host into manifesting physically into this world, just like a demon posession ( their host is mainly aware of what's going on or quickly find the problem by investigating what happened ) . While some human vessels are ok with it, some others are pissed and scared by what their hidden wolf side is able to accomplish while taking over, which is understandable. Two other kind of practices that allow shapeshifting into a wolf : Witchcraft & shamanism.Do not worry, you won't come across some twilight/teen wolf fans who successfully & physically transformed into a wolf since the human needs to have a basic and strong connection to the animal by any mean  possible or the wolf  DNA coding won't ever develop and incubate both into their brain and soul core since they have NO IDEA what being a wolf feels or is like. No past lives as one ? No soul merging with a stray wolf spirit ? No shifting. You can't just shapeshift into a wolf because you love them or think they are cool. Nah..sorry. Wolf shapeshifters's wolf form resembles A LOT of that of a grey wolf, much more than the blood were form does. Wolf shapeshifters are , like grey wolves, short on legs and have long tails, they are also very agile and quick. The only thing that can tell you that it is NOT a grey wolf is his odd behavior and their sucky howl lol ( no offense )  :

To be honest, while it is clear how grey wolves are different from their shifter fellows, I still need to study the very accurate details of the physical difference of a blood were and wolf shapeshifter in their spooky & odd wolf form.

Satanism doesn't really have anything to do with shifters, magic, and energy work are the same thing under a different label, but Satanism is just a faith it has no connection to shapeshifting. Satanism is either a spiritual faith in embodying what satan is as a concept (pride, respectfulness, etc) or as a deity who cares for its followers. Of course, someone who follows satanism could also be someone who practices energy work but yeah. Overall a really nice guide to read.
