Does it hurt that bad ? :

 

For the pain level, I can't tell, it depends on people. Some feel like a truck is crushing them, other people barely feel like tattoo pain and some other wander how they survived the change. In my case, I'm still not sure since I don't control it. But I' ve got sharp pain when my spine started to change and it hurt. It's surprising but I think it will become more bearable if you just let go and accept the pain. It doesn't last long and the more your body changes, the less you feel awake and aware of the pain.
