Head

In general, Gray Wolves measure from 66 to 96 cm (26 to 38 inches) at the shoulder, and from 102 to 147 cm (40 to 58 inches) from head to the base of their tail. Tail length measures from 33 to 51 cm (13 to 20 inches). A Wolf's average weight ranges from 27 to 45 kilograms (60 to 100 pounds); however, some Wolves have been recorded in extremes of 18 to 80 kilograms (40 to 175 pounds). Female Wolves (called bitches) generally weigh 20% less than the males (called dogs).
The skull of the wolf is large and long and tapers forward, averaging nine to eleven inches long and five to six inches wide.It is less high than human skull but more long. All the part of the human face that has the nose, mouth and chin go forward to grow as a muzzle.

When you shift your face and skull, it has this feeling that i describe as a pression you feel on your teeth when the dentist is pushing the needle between two teeth, but without the pain.

It is a sensation of constant pushing forward, and you lips might twich and shake a bit. You feel your teeth growing and pushing down as you are focusing on them.

Notice that the more you focus on all the body parts at the same time, the harder it gets to p-shift.

So it is recommended to p-shift one thing at a time. Usually people begin with teeth or eyes.

I suggest eyes, then teeth and ears. Then muzzle, skull, etc.

A Wolf's ears are triangle shaped and rounded across the top; they are much broader and shorter than coyote or fox ears. Wolves tend to have shorter/darker fur on the backside of the ear, with a lighter, somewhat longer fur along the inside. Wolves are able fold their ears back against their head, move them side to side, and forward independently of each other. This range of motion assists the Wolf in detecting the direction of sound quite precisely. Wolves also use ear postures for communicating amongst themselves.

Hearing is a Wolf's second most developed sense. It is thought that domestic canines can hear sixteen times better than human beings. It is supposed that a Wolf's ability to hear is even better than this. Experts believe that Wolves may be able to hear frequencies far above the limits of human beings. The upper limit of human hearing is about 20 kHz, a Wolf's upper limit has been estimated at between 25 and 80 kHz. Wolves have been known to react to imitated Wolf howls from five kilometers (three miles) away. Some experts say that a Wolf can hear ten to sixteen kilometers (six to ten miles), depending on the density of trees and other obstacles between them and the source of the sound.

SHIFTING LESSON :

We often feel our ears as phantom wolf ears on our human body, right ? Yes, because having ears to communicate our feelings feels completely normal to us. Use that way of thinking to make the feeling of having ears bigger and bigger. They when you are shifting ears is to focus on them not too hard, just think of them has a permanent and completely body part of yours, like if it was there. I always felt my phantom ears and one day, i started to feel twiches, hard twiches. Your ears will get dizzy and hot and it will twiches a lot. You will feel it at the line of your cheek until the top of your ears. The way used to shift ears is to multiply the sense of Hearing. Imagine you hear better than now, then imagine strongly that you are. Next step is to pay attention to every noise you hear around you, in your environment. Do like wolves : use your hears as a weapon of survival. wolves don't often use their eyes, they use their senses, mostly ears and muzzle. So do the same when you walk in the street.
Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Jackal_Sequence_by_oboroten
Something i do also is to think of the position of my ears when i talk to someone, when i socially interact. Is it a dominance situation ? is the person a rank below you, following your instinct ? If it is, raise your ears and tail, you are the boss !

Do those tricks all the time and eventually the p-shift will come on its own.

Know that the ear shifting is spontanious only when the phantom shift is masterized because shifting ears is a long term phantom shift process.

good luck with ears !

WOLF EYES ANATOMY

Wolves are usually born with deep blue eyes which lighten and then gradually fade into the adult eye color over the next six to ten weeks. A mature Wolf's eyes are often amber/brown or gold, but also commonly come in hues of brown, gray, yellow, and green. It is interesting to note that puppies are born with blue eyes, while mature Wolves do not retain blue as an eye color. Huskies often have blue eyes, and because of this people think there must be blue eyed Wolves as well, but this isn't true. If you see a Wolf with blue eyes then he or she is likely a Wolf-hybrid and not a full-blooded Wolf.

A Wolf's eye sight is just about as good as that of a human being. However some experts believe that Wolves may be nearsighted because their eyes lack a foveal pit, an indentation in the retina which provides for focusing, especially on distant objects. Wolves have excellent peripheral vision and their eyes are optimized to detect motion. In addition, they have a very high ratio of rods (grayscale receptors) to cones (color receptors) in the retina; in fact, about 95% rods. This abundance of rods aids the Wolf in the ability to see at night. A Wolf's night vision is far superior to that of a human being.

Although little research has been done into a Wolf's ability to see color, it is believed that they may be partially color blind. Wolves have only red and blue photo receptors in their eyes, unlike humans, who have red, green, and blue photo receptors. Tests on domestic canines show that they may not be able to distinguish yellow from green or orange from red. Tests on Wolves, where red, blue, yellow, and green dyes were put onto clean snow, show that they often detect the red and yellow stains. This could be because they associate these colors with blood and urine and have little interest in the other colors. There is no conclusive evidence regarding the color vision abilities of Wolves, however. It is my personal belief that Wolves can see all of the colors, but only take an interest in those that might benefit them in some way.

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Canine-eye

Canines have a third eyelid (nictitans) which stretches across the eye and contains a gland which, along with glands in the ciliary body, acts to lubricate the eye. However, these tear glands excrete an oily substance rather than watery tears: Canines are not able to shed the moist tears of sorrow as humans do, but this doesn't mean they don't cry.

EYES SHIFTING METHOD AND SENSATIONS

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Wolf_boy_gif_by_thesearchingeyes-d2yn1s0

Shifting Eyes isn't difficult, but ask a lot of patience, focus and energy. Shifting the color or the pupil of the eyes aren't a real proof of shifting, but only a self-test to see if you can modify your genes only with your mind. It is like a self proof of you being to change your DNA. Changing Dna is the basic of p-shifting.

How to p-shift eyes ? The method I use is in front of a camera or a miror.
I look into it,  i try to be sure that i'm in a room where light is uniform and balanced, no changes of light.
Then i look at my eye, closer than usual and start to m-shift. I close eyes for seconds, trying to vizuallize the color of the wolf eye, and to m shift ( everything tha will make your wolf comes out  ). To shift your eyes, you need that wolf energy  coming out to change the genes.
This energy is the one your mind is using to tell your eyes they aren't the right form and color. so they will change.
Look at the color and shape, and imagine hardly what you want to reach, how you want them to become, while feeling your wolf energy as strong as you can.
Eventually ( 10 to 20 min for the first months of practice ), it will change slowly and you will see your wolf coming out physically.

I love that eye shifting. It doesn,t really proof that I am a werewolf but sometimes the shift is really impressive and even scary.

Warning : Be sure to not hurt yourself during the shift. Forcing eye color or shape to change is a lot of stress to your body and you could get hurt, even blinded if you abuse of eye shifting. Make sure your don't injure yourself.

Tip : sometimes, when we have strong feelings like deep pain or anger etc, our eyes change color on their own and the wolf comes out. I heard that taking a picture while you look straight at the sun reveals your true wolf eye color. But really, i don't recommand it.

Why ? Looking at the sun too often makes people blind.

Good luk and happy shifting !

Teeth, Fangs, and Jaws

A Wolf has 42 teeth: the upper jaw has six incisors; for cutting flesh, two canines (also called fangs); for piercing into flesh and holding prey, eight premolars and four molars; for slicing and grinding. The lower jaw has six incisors, two canines, eight premolars, and six molars. The last premolars on the upper jaw and the first molars on the lower jaw are called the carnassial teeth; specialized for slicing through meat. The canines may reach a length of 5.7 centimeters (2.25 inches), which includes the area set within the jaws.

Experts have surmised that Wolves are capable of a jaw pressure of up to 105 kilograms per square centimeter (1,500 pounds per square inch). This is about twice the jaw pressure of a German shepherd.

Shifting Lesson

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Nikoakniteeth

I've seen a trick where shapeshifters used they fingers to push the teeth to help them going out. I'm not pretty sure it's working or not, but it seems enough used to make me think of it. Anyway, when you want to shift teeth, it's a bit like if you wanted to shift ears : it's a constant long term phantom shift.
BUT, shifting teeth doesn't have to wait for ph-shift process to be complete. You can p-shift teeth anytime when you meditate to make your teeth growing.
Just m-shift and think of all the things wolves make with their teeths : chewing, snarling, eating, snaping. think of urself using them and think of their anatomy as hard as you can and the longer you can.
Not easy but when it working, you feel your lips aren't able to stand calm and always get higher to shake near the nose, mouth opened. Your mouth gets dryer, your senses get stronger.
Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Jackal_Sequence_by_oboroten

Did you ever go to dentist to retrieve some teeth ? Do you remember the sensation of the needle going right between two of your teeth, going through the roots of your teeth bones ? It feels like something pushing and your bones are moving to make space to the needle. If feels the same, but without all the pain lol, and for all the jaw and teeth while doing it.
Actually, i love the sensation, it makes me know it's working.
Don't forget to think of your tongue getting longer and make it stands between your two fangs of lower jaw, it's easier that way.
when you have masterized m-shift, try p-shifting your teeth and work hard on them, they aren't easy, even if they are one of the most easy to try lol.

tip : Use your wolf energy to focus on your teeth and jaw while m-shifting, it's the only way to do it. Sometimes i snarl when i m-shift, it helps to imagine the teeths.

good luck !

Chest and Flank

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters ACES_HIGH_trade_pic_by_Anarchpeace

The chest of a wolf is a bit like a dog, but larger. The wolf breathes fast and deep. Its chest is thin but high and long. If you want to shift the chest, focus on your breathing, imagining yourself breathing as a wolf, feeling the cold breees feeling like water in your throat, getting a bit hotter while deeper and deeper.

Feel deep, large and fast, that's how a wolf breathes. Nad if we think of how the human's chest is smaller, then you just have to imagine your chest getting larger, feel the bones cracking and the spine wil comes with. The spine comes naturally while trying to shift the whole body.

Legs and paws anatomy

olves have long, strong legs and large paws; they are built for speed and agility. The forelegs appear pressed into the Wolf's narrow chest, with the elbow turned inward and the paws turned outward. This allows the Wolf's fore and hind legs to swing in a strait line so that the hind paw falls into the impression that the front paw left. Domestic canines generally leave the hind paw impression next to the forepaw impression. The Build of a Wolf's legs are ideal for fast, agile movement over all types of terrain, even deep snow. And the webbing between their toes makes Wolves excellent swimmers as well. As with other canines, Wolves are digitigrade; meaning they bear their weight on their toes as they walk and not the entire sole of the foot.
There are four toes on each hind paw, and five toes on each forepaw. However, one of the toes on the forepaw is used for clasping and doesn't touch the ground. Each toe has a calloused pad and a non-retractable claw. Also, each paw has a single large calloused heel pad. An adult Wolf's forepaw prints measure from about 11.4 to centimeters 12.7 (4½ to 5 inches) in length and from about 9.5 to 11.4 centimeters (3¾ to 4½ inches) in width, with their hind paws measuring 15 to 20% smaller then their forepaws.

The average gait of a Wolf is between 6.5 and 8 kilometers (4 and 5 miles) per hour. Wolves can maintain an average top speed of about 40 kilometers (25 miles) per hour over a distance of 3 kilometers (2 miles). A Wolf maintaining a speed of 56 kilometers (35 miles) per hour over 6 kilometers (4 miles) was reported by a Minnesota game warden in 1955. There have been other reports of Wolves running in excess of 56 kilometers (35 miles) miles per hour, but these are likely exceptional extremes. Wolves bound when they are in pursuit of large prey animals. L. David Mech reported that he witnessed Wolves bounding over 5 meters (16 feet) while in pursuit of moose. Wolves can keep up the chase for about twenty minutes, after which they tend to rest or sleep for at least ten to fifteen minutes before resuming activity.
Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters 6798208076_10fdffd976_z
It's not uncommon for a Wolf to travel 32 to 48 kilometers (20 to 30 miles) a day while hunting. Where food is scare Wolves have been recorded to have walked 190 kilometers (120 miles) searching for food in a single day. Wolves have a great capacity for long journeys. When dispersing from their pack, lone Wolves have been monitored traveling over 800 miles in search of new territory.

SHIFTING LESSON

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Canine-front-paw-bones-compare

There are many common ways to partial shift but the legs require a lot more imagination. See, we aren't use to walk on four, to feel light and run like if we had springs in our feets, including the fact that walking on rocks doesnt't hurt ! How could we imagine to walk that way when we never did since we were young ? So that's why it needs a lot of imagination. I know we were walking on four when we were really young but it isn't the same pattern ( tho, i like to walk on four to make me feel more like a wolf ). Walking on four can hurt our knees, back, neck, hands and feets. so the only way ( comfortable way ) to be on four is in our dreams.

How do wolves feel when they are walking, running ?
The feeling is amazing. You feel like if you were walking on cushions. You feel light, fast and powerful. Nothing under your paws hurt ! It is like having comfortable shoees in your human feets !
Now to shift legs and paws, you need to think '' wolf '' and use them all the time as a wolf would do. You can do it while standing on two legs too. Use your '' paws '' not your hands to push a door for it to open. Dig things, use your claws to feel objects. try to walk on toes instead of your heel.
Now, how does a wolf run ?
Like this :

Wolves Anatomy study for Shifting matters Running-wolf-Wolf-s-Rain-wolves-13476164-445-126

The trick to feel like you were on four legs is easy : When you walk, each time you make a step, imagine that your head is rising up to give a momentum to jump with your back legs  and to continue the run. I often walk in the street and knowing how the wolf runs feels like if i was running on four all the time, even when I'm walking. It feels amazing.

Now for the p-shift , lay down in a comfortable position and m-shift. When you are use to feel the '' run '' and wolves walking ways, it is so much easier to m-shift and run in your meditatioin dreams ! What works a lot is to know perfectly how the paws are made, in comparison of human hands. Think of the anatomy hardly, while you are p-shifting and focus. IMAGINATION.
Run free in your heart....

 TAIL

A Wolf's tail measures from 33 to 51 cm (13 to 20 inches) and consists of long fur radiating away from it in all directions, but sloping toward the tip. Most Wolves have a dark spot of fur covering the precaudal scent gland, also called the violet gland, about 10 cm (4 inches) from the croup and on the tail's tip. The tail serves to protect the anus and genitals from insect bites as well as a device for communicating with other Wolves. The communications aspect of the Wolf's tail will be delved into in the section dealing with communication.

Shifting Lesson

Shifting tail isn't easy, most of time, comes as the last partial p-shift you can make. Why ? because it is the harder one. We don't really know how to imagine an appendice we didn't have since million of years. Our monkey tail faded with time and we forgot the sensation of it. Hopefully, m-shifting helps to remember it even if its really hard to imagine it. Wolves use it to express their feelings and rank in the pack. Usually, they don't even have conscious of their existing. Tails are discret if you are not too happy. you are not supposed to feel it, most of the time. So what you need to do is imagine the soft big fluffy texture hiting ur flank when ur happy and make the move with the lowe part of your body. that's a phantom shift you can make.
Concerning p-shift, it's another story. Considering the fact that even in wolf form, you can't count on the way you feel it because you don't really feel it ( but when your happy or excited ), you need to imagine it when you m-shift. Imagine the color, the texture, then stop thinking of it. Just try to feel the muscle that helps moving the tail, at the basic, when you use it in the pack.
Cause yeah, imagine you are in the pack, interacting. Your ears and tail at the same time is the trick.  Wolves use them both to communicate so do the same in your life ( as phantom shift ) when you interact with other humans and in m-shift when you try to p shift.
Study wolf expressions, practice body langage while mshift and it will goes nturally.

good luck !

FUR

Wolves are covered in a moderate length pelt across most of their body. The color of their fur may range from pure black to pure white, with any tint or shade of gray, tan, cream, ochre (yellow-gold), sienna (reddish brown), and brown between. On Wolves having light and dark patterned fur, the markings tend to be lighter on the ventral (belly) side of the body and graduate to darker/longer/thicker fur on the dorsal (back) side.

The ears, forehead, and top of the muzzle are usually of a short/course/lighter fur, mingled of dark and/or mid pelage tones with the underside of the muzzle and throat being of lighter pelage tones. The legs and paws also have short/course/lighter fur. The tail is generally covered with a long/thick/bushy fur, the color scheme being similar to that of the rest of the Wolf; dark on top and lighter on the bottom. Light colored Wolves may even have a dark spot of fur covering the precaudal scent gland, also called the violet gland, at the top of their tail, about 10 cm (4 inches) from its base and on the tip.

In the wintertime a Wolf's pelt usually grows quite thick to keep the Wolf comfortable at cold temperatures. During this time the pelt fills in with a short, dense, under-growth of fine, or downy, light colored fur. This is sometimes called a "prime coat." In spring this fur is then shed, thinning the pelt dramatically to prevent the Wolf from over-heating as summer temperatures rise. Some call this thinning of the pelt "blowing" or "blowing-out" the coat.

Some Wolves, especially dark furred Wolves, have phases where their pelt lightens significantly during certain seasons or as they age. A black-phase Wolf starts life with a very dark or black pelt which may become lighter in the summer and then darken again in the winter. A dark or black-phase Wolf's fur also tends to lighten with age and may become light gray, or even white, as the Wolf reaches his or her senior years.

Wolves are generally born with dark or black fur which lightens as they mature. It is unlikely that Wolves are subject to albinism, as no living examples exist.

Shifting lesson

Wearing fur is a bit like wearing a winter coat. It makes you more heavy and feel bigger. The wolf fur isn't that heavy but it is still the best winter coat ever. Wolf fur is thick, soft and sensible. You can easily feel the wind in your fur when it's blowing, it gives shirverins. My best advice for you to make fur grow is to m-shift and imagine this soft and comfortable winter coat you lay on. Feel the '' thickness '' of the fur, make it your protection, make it a part of yourself, make it permanent.

this is my guide to help find you spirit wolf/animal hope it helps.

To be able to find your inner spirit wolf using my method you must be able at least able to m-shift for at least 5-10 mins. Make sure you are alone for this time and where no one can see or hear you because you might shift during this. Make sure your in a relaxing position. Ok now lets start close your eyes and m-shift into a mental state of mind where your in your "happy place" it might be a forest or a waterfall ect. focus on just the place untill your stable then start to imagine a copy of your self then once stable again try to make it shift into a wolf. This is where most people eather faint or wake up so keep focused. If it does shift try to remember exactly what it looks like down to every detail. Focus on the wolf completely now. By now the place you first tought of has probly gone away this is normal. now the realy hard part try to give the wolf part of your energy yes your energy imagine an orb of your energy float over into the wolf, it that worked the wolf should open its eyes if it does ask it its name if it answers you shold snap out of the state and there you have it now just think of that wolf when you try to shift and also you should be able to talk to you wolf be repeating the prosess.
