Earth vs Terra

So, I know a couple different names for this planet, and I personally hate saying "Earth" as the planet's name. The planet is "Terra" and "earth" is the word I use to refer to the ground material of a planet. What are your thoughts?

Hmm I'd prefer calling it a rock, though looking at humanities process...it'll become some kind of metal soon.

I just call it Earth; one of the definitions. I honestly never cared enough to call it anything else now that I think about it.
