Anyone has good books about witchcraft, shapeshifting and stuff like so?

Hey guys, I was wondering about some good books to add onto my birthday list. So... do you's know any good books about witchcraft, shamanism, shapeshifting and etc? Let me know if you have some good ones! :)

Depends, witchcraft is just energy manipulation with different ways of doing it, for example, chaos magick, white and black magick (which isn't exactly black and white but more of a paradigm people choose to make subjectively exist) etc. However, there are a ton of books and PDFs available online.

Shamanism I personally have a hard time finding because for the longest people have tried to push the idea that to be a shamanism you NEED a teacher when you don't or a near death experience when you don't lol.

Personally, I've liked the books written by Lupa Greenwolf. She covers all sorts of topics, but there's some books also out of print that might be harder to find. (Funny enough, her book A Field Guide to Otherkin mentioned one of my instructors. I was reading the book while at one of the Gathers and found an entry pertaining to him!)

Lupa covers a wide range of topics, I'd say it's worth checking out.

Also, Magic of Shapeshifting which I've seen mentioned here is one of the other books in my collection. ^w^

  • Animal Speak by Ted Andrews (I haven't read it but have heard good things about it)
  • Monsters Among Us by Linda Godfrey(talks about various supernatural beings, plus a woman who became a demon)
  • Putting on the Wolf Skin by Wayland Skallagrimsson
  (more for berserkers and similar beings)
