hello everyone, some of the may remember me from the old forum. I was there briefly before becoming reticent due to problems posting. but i'm back again.

•About me: I am a Pine marten Therian from the Los Angeles area. My awakening is a long story. but it occurred when I was 29. (late to the party I know. lol) i had learned of this community many years prior, but i didn't really take much interest in it until around 2015 when i met someone at a furry convention who told me that he was a therian. we became friends and the more he told me about this, the more it intrigued me.

eventually, i began to feel different internally. it transpired into things like phantom limbs, involuntary movement of my ears when hearing certain noises, and sleep paralysis episodes where i felt like i was transforming into a creature. this inner animal ended up being a Pine marten. which i had recently discovered to be my spirit animal.

aside from being a therian, i am also an avid fursuiter. known as Bodker in the furry fandom. i'm also an avid member of the LA goth scene. i'm a goth/industrial music fan through and through. my favorite bands are clan of xymox, third realm, deathstars, neuropa, hocico, the house of usher, pride and fall, lestat, the birthday massacre, and dark sanctuary to name a few.

as for my therian name. it came to me in a dream. it's a long story, but the voice i heard was saying something like The_Elakrian. as part of my vision quest, i am trying to discover it's meaning. but i believe that i have a purpose.

it's a member of the mustelid family. they have claws and are about the size of a house cat. they're great tree climbers.

lots of hugs from the kitty! hopefully you enjoy my species. even though we're not feline, there are some similarities. when owned as pets, we will eat cat food, and we always land on our feet when we fall. we've got claws too!

Neko: You misunderstand. I'm a cat, (sort of) but Mil is a separate entity, and in no way feline.
